Hi Guys,
Could any one of u tel me where will the traffic gets established first, OL or UL? We are havin a etwork with 900 as UL and 1800 as OL. And also help me in balancing both the traffic.
Also, at wat threshold level the first established traffic gets converted to next.

As common BCCH is of UL(900) subcell, so the traffic will get established in this UL first.But i am getting problem with PS traffic balancing as PS is only available in 900(UL subcell). How can I make 1800(OL) for PS traffic too…

Y do u wanna route PS traffic to 1800? I don understand.
For a network with UL/OL and only single BCCH (900), PS is normally assigned to BCCH TRX (Clean Zone). 1800(OL) is for capacity (i.e carrying CS traffic). Also 900(UL) Coverage > 1800(OL) coverage.

Yes , i mean same.Hi,
U r suppose to balance the CS traffic in such a way that 1800 will carrry atleast 60% of the traffic. This makes TS in 900 vacant whern in the PS traffic shall b processed.
Its always risky, in some case even impossible to route PS traffic in 1800
Somebody Correct me if am wrong.
