    Hi Sewashi
    Path imbalance=Path Loss(DL)-Path loss(UL)
    0r
    Path imbalance=Path Loss(UL)-Path loss(DL),whatever.
    Rest is self explainatory

    thanks bijoy. in nokia, the formula for ave link imbalance is

    (2x ave BS power + ave DL signal strength) – (2x ave MS power – ave UL signal strength)

    is this path loss?

    A little correction.
    DL path loss(dBm) =Avg BS power – combiner loss – Avg DL signal strength
    UL path loss(dBm)= Avg MS power – Avg UL signal strength.

    thanks bijoy. heres the actual formula i copied from nokia documentation. why is it dat ave_dl_sig_str is positive? can you explain?

    Average link imbalance, S2 (lb_13)
    2*sum(ave_BS_power)/sum(power_denom2)+sum(ave_dl_sig_str)/sum(power_denom3)
    -2*sum(ave_MS_power)/sum(power_denom1)-sum(ave_ul_sig_str)/sum(power_denom4)

    Counters from table(s):
    p_nbsc_power
    Unit = dB
