SDCCH Definition Limits (Huawei)

    For Huawei BSC6000, (BTS3012 and BTS312) can anyone please tell me the limits for SDCCH/8 definition.

    For eg. for 2 TRX maximum SDCCH/8 can be ???
    for 4 TRXs???

    for N TRXs??? 🙂

    No limit,all TCH’s can be defined as SDCCH

    Thanks Bijoy, but are you sure that if for e.g I have defined 6 SDCCH on a two TRX cell, all SDCCH will carry traffic? Or would they be just defined and not active?

    You should define static SDCCH depending on the peak SDCCH Traffic.If you over-dimension,obviously some SDCCH will remain unused.Also the SDCCH usage of a TRX depends on the quality,the most interfered SDCCH will be the last resort of the cell.
