I have found from the neighbor stat that, there is no inter-BSC Handover triggerring from cell A to cell B (inter BSC HO attempt is zero from cell A to cell B for whole day..I checked several days).
But there are few attempts (inter BSC) from cell B to cell A.
I mean HO is happenning only in one way.
I have checked from the cell parameter that , neighbor relation is defined as a both way between cell A and cell B.
What should be the reason for this 1 way HO?
What I need to check? (There is no RF related problem as I checked.)
Prompt reply is highly appreciated.
How many HO requests did you see in the past weeks, in both directions ?
If the figures are low, then I wouldn’t be surprised that sometimes there aren’t any HO.
What are the values of HO requests and HO successes ?
thanks Pix for your reply.
Ya, the number of HO attempt is too low.
Per day less then 15 HO.Which is not normal.
The 2 cells are adjacent.Supposed to be more HO. As I also found from log file that cell B was the strongest neighbor when cell A was serving.
What is the cause for that less no of HO or sometimes no HO at all.
Your help will be appreciated.
