please sugguest some parameter to control sd drop rate due low signal strength on uplink.
note: working on ericsson system.

Also check what is the BSC setting for Low SS,it should be around -100

In order to overcome a little bit this problem try to manage carefully the timer T200:
The Timer T200 Can be optimized to achieve a Maximum time the LAPD (Layer-2) transmitter (at the BSC) will wait
for an acknowledgment before making a retransmission.

T200 is not really relevant to power control…
I doubt there are much T200 retransmissions in a network. From my point of view, it’s strange to see so many optimizers worrying about T200 values…
