Call drop in cells serving railway route

    Hi All

    Huge call drops observed in cells serviing along railway routes, especially on interBSC and interMSC boundary cells. Any similar observations?? What is the solution? Anything to do with handover timers in MSC/BSC. Its an Ericsson network.

    Drops are predominantly due to uplink signal strength reasons and a few due to suddenly lost connections.

    hi Karthik.
    i hope you know what to look for if these are the major causes(you can find in Alex).
    Let me know what measures have you taken to solve them?
    besides,Is your Inter-BSc or Inter-MSC Hosr too poor?do you have a huge count of “Other reason drop” too?
