Paging method selection

    Hi all,

    on MSC we can choose different paging methods, when we define BSC data:
    CGI = CI + LAC + MNC + MCC
    CLI = CI + LAC
    LAI = LAC + MNC + MCC
    LAC = LAC
    ALL = ALL CELLS IN BSC

    question is, what is the best method to optimize (decrease)signalling load of the network?

    Is it? Paging method means imsi,tmsi selection .if i am wrong plz give suggetion.

    Hello!
    As pointed in NED “The LAC or LAI paging method is recommended because it produces less signalling load between the MSC and the BSC than other paging methods. LAI method is used if radio network configuration of the MSC/MSS contains several PLMNs.”
