Traffic Channel Fail

    Hi friends;

    I’ve the famous TCH FAIL problems in one of my sector GSM 1900. I’ve already changed all the Hardware, feeders, connectors, TMA and antenna panels but the problems still continues. I don`t know if the problem is enginnes, RF planning or some bad configuration. I`ve still measured the VSWR of the feeders and all is ok.
    someone knows why this happens?

    Please People, I don`t have Technnical support from Ericsson

    help me??

    Hi Jenny,

    Could you check the value of TCH FAIL per TRX ? Also, try to tell me the amount of traffic (erlang) per TRX.

    Then…

    if you see one TRX only have poor TCH Fail, lock it and check TCH FAIL tomorrow.

    if all TRX have poor TCH FAIL : deactivate frequency hopping, and check again, per TRX.

    But before all, please write down the values I asked above, per TRX 🙂
