BTS poblem

    Hi pix,

    hope u’ll be able to help on this.
    I’m a new comer in the field and I’m facing this problem with a BTS.

    Looking at the OMC-R the station seems normal but the statistics show that it’s not in traffic.When you lock and unlock TRXs it starts working again for like 13 hours a most.

    When you go on site, there is no network, the suma board is ok, but the others unit are on but all the leds are blinking… The BTS terminal has no alarm and shows every thing ok.
    The TRXs have around 40° of temperature.What do u think this may be?

    I’m sorry I can’t help you about this, my knowledge is limited to the radio algorithms. I suck at hardware 🙂

    I recommend you contact your Alcatel-Lucent Technical support in your country, so they can help you out. I assume the equipment has some sort of warranty ?

    Yellaiah, there’s no pbm with the E1 it’s only located on the BTS because there’s one other BTS in drop with it but it’s really ok…
