Hi,
While travelling in car with an established call, it gets abruptly disconnected at some locations. What would be reasons for this? And what are the parameters that i neeed to check with. Kindly advice
How often the call drops as you pass the particular area? Check the alarm history+KPI stats for the past one week. Do the Drive Test and analyse the area which the call get drop.
Make sure you have coverage on that particular spot and check RXLEV and RXQUAL values first.
Kindly check handover parameters. There might be some discrepancies on the defined neighboring
For a call drop analysis there are some check list.
1 neighbour audit.
2 Co-BCCH hit.
3 TCH hit.
4 Physical optimization.
5 Near By cell RF performance behaviour(Stats).
