Sharing in SCCP Link

    Dears,

    I have problem to sharing signalling link within link set, this link set using for SCCP message. Could you please advise me for this case ? How SLS value in SCCP initiate ? I found some document talking about “Protocol Class” but I don’t understand what does it mean ? and which case is Class 0 which case is Class 1. 🙁

    Dear, Don!
    SCCP Class 0 and class 1 are connectionless services. Class 0 is for non-guaranteed in-sequence delivery and class 1 is for guaranteed in-sequence delivery of SCCP-SDUs. It is achieved by indicating of the SLS from SCCP.

    No, the protocol class isn’t dependent from SLS, but SCCP takes measures to assign the same SLS for messages with Protocol Class = 1 belonging a some transaction. You may see about SCCP in ITU-T Q.711,712…
