alcatel half rate

    Hi
    Iam new in alcatel and i have problem that the cell is congested how should i checked the paramter for Half rate is active or not and alcatel version is B9, and is there any website to show me radio parameters as doc .

    Hi andy,
    In order to activate HalfRate for a cell, the parameter HR_ENABLED should be enabled in a cell level (somewhere in “edit cell” tabs, use “find” to find the parameter) and in abis level how many TRXs you want in dual rate (find the BTS and declare how many TRXs in DR for corresponding cell). I’m not at work to check and give you exact answer, for the moment I hope it helps.

    Hi andy,
    I’m not so sure, but I think you have to tune parameters THR_FR_LOAD_L_xx and THR_FR_LOAD_U_xx (where xx=SV1 or SV3). For example for the cell with 4 TRXs THR_FR_LOAD_L_SV1=40 and THR_FR_LOAD_U_SV1=70 (it depends, check help for those parameters).

    CAN a DS3 do 45 Meg UP and 45 Down at the same time.
