Microwave problem

    Microwave transmission always down and after reset IDU its UP again.
    I already changed IDU and ODU but still got same problem.
    FYI, BER always counting, link cross the sea with horizontal polarization and distance 7 km…i use 1.2m dish with 13Ghz freq.I have no idea to solve this since that im still new in this field.Anyone have any idea to solve?

    Pass it to the transmission engineer who designed the link. check the calculations, and it might require a space diversity or whatever.. the intermittent will always be there expecially crossing a body of water. goodluck

    u need to have space diversity configuration as the link has its route over the sea. Also make sure that the shelter or the equipment room is well airconditioned. Temperature also affects the equipment functioning.
