I had the problem regarding the TRX power and assigning BCCH, I’m asking that, say we are having two TRXs, one is having high power and other is having very low power, so here where we have to assign the BCCH…plz expalain the reason also….
i think BCCH should be assigned on the TRX with high power cuz signaling must reach remote MSs.In other words,the users within the area of a cell must be reached and camped on BCCH carrier.
Eisa, you’re correct.
Nish, the mapping of BCCH onto the TRX should be automatic. There shouldn’t be too much power difference between the TRX, otherwise you might consider doing a concentric cell (outer zone / inner zone)
