    Hey Pix,

    Thanks for your help.
I have concluded two things as per our discussion:

    1. BSC indicates “absolute Power” to MS, based on its PC algo (using UL_RXLEV and Threshold).

    2. BSC doesn’t take into account the MS power into this.

I hope I am right on these conclusions. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks for the help!!

    Sachin, yes, absolutely perfect.
But I must add : the BSC *could* use the MS Power in its computation. It depends on YOUR algorithm ๐Ÿ™‚

In alcatel systems, the MS Power is not used, and it works perfectly ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hey Pix,

    Thanks for the gr8 support.

    I have now decided.

    For Power Control:

    1. BSC “would” be using “MS Power” in its account.
    2. BSC “would not” use “MS Power Class”.

Lets see its efficiency and effectiveness in real systems.

    Wish me luck.

    Best Regards,
    Sachin

I would link conpare parameter between Motorola vs Ericsson as below please help me
    1.SSDES(signal strength desired) = โ€“94 dBm =moto?
    2.QDESUL(quality desired for uplink) = 10
    3.Uplink signal strength compensation factor
    (LCOMPUL)2 = 50
    4.Uplink signal quality compensation factor
    (QCOMPUL)2 = 30
because I will used with moto BTS
