Do you thinks it is possible to used the existing GSM900 to bring all 3G services (video call/browsing/etc).What I mean is used GSM900 frequency as 3G by customizing equipments.
What do you think is the advantage/disadvantage and all the possible problems that may arise if ever this will be implemented.

it is possible to use the gsm900 band for 3g/umts services. the development is called refarming.among other benefits is the spectral saving of frequencies and might result in free trading of these bands among operators.
