I have some doubts in channels. Plz let me know the meaning of the followings,>>SDCCH/8
This is Stand-alone Dedicated Control Channel, but here waz the meaning of 8. Similar manner….>>SDCCH/4

if u’r BCCH type is non combined and one physical channel is defined for SDCCH, then you have 8 SDCCH’s (i.e. SDCCH/8).
if the BCCH type is combined, then the BCCH and SDCCH share a single physical channel and only 4 SDCCH’s can be accomodated (SDCCH/4).

C4 or C8 means that one of the subchannels is dedicated for Cell Broadcast (it’s a msg sent to all MS camping in the cell, such as advertisement, or news, it’s optional)
