Dual band cells – load balancing

    Hi all,
    Do anybody known what Nokia BSS parameters modify for load balancing in dual-band cells WITHOUT common BCCH ?? Consider dual-band antenas with the same tilting for each 850-1900 sector.

    i don’t know nokia specificities, but you’ll certainly have to work with cell reselection and “better condition” handover parameters.
    Both cells are independent so I doubt there is some kind of specific load balancing feature for colocated cells only.
    What do you think ?

    I´ve read about some specific parameters as: DADL (direct access to desired layer) what send calls from 850 to 1900 band (load balancing) and in this manner avoid congestion in 850 band. I´ve activated this parameter but still have some congestion in 850. Any advice ? Any other parameter ?
