Alert SCA is not working

    Hi,
    Can any one tell me if alert SCA service is not available in SMSC that means SMSC does not understand alert SCA what will happen where SMSC has the capability to retry in every 5 minutes to deliver the SM. Is their any affect on MNRF flag which was activated in HLR while subscriber was not available ?. Now subscriber is available , HLR will send alert SCA to SMSC but SMSC does not understand , SMSC has delivered the SM by retrying mechanism not by SCA. What will be affect on MNRF flag in HLR.

    Dear kanai!
    MNRF in HLR is cleared after Alert_SC_ack from SC. In unsucsessful case Alert_SC_req may be repeated several times. If all this attempts were unsucsesful then MNRF is deleted when a sutable time period has expired. In HLR phase1 MAP service Alert_SC_req is not confirmed by SC and MNRF is deleted after Alert_SC_req. With Regards, Pan/
