What are the reason for Drop call for:
Abnormal release,no activity on the radio path. (cause value 4)Sometimes..HO fail/drop call due to Datalink failure.N200_timer expired. What might be the reason for this ? (Rx level and qual are ok)..
N200 might be related to abis failures. you know that as soon as the abis is “down”, all communications in the BTS are released.
regarding the “no activity”, i don’t know. you should check your vendor specifications, they might explain what is the trigger for such drops.
I have seen From ETSI 04.08 documents:
Cause value = 4 Abnormal release, no activity on the radio path;
indicates that some supervisory function has detected that the channel is not active.What does this Supervisory function mean here ?
the BTS is supervising the radiolink activity. So probably, this cause means there is a radiolink timeout ?
The mobile falls off the network i.e going into and underground car park.
No disconnection mesg recieved from UE
