    Which BAND 900 or 1800 will be scanned first?

    Taking it further…

    An International roamer comes to the airport. he powers on his MS.

    The operator of roamer has agreement with yours as well as mine operator.

    The MS of roamer gets latched with yours network.

    Why the MS latched to your network not mine?

    What should i do to make the roamer gets latched to mine network?

    May be it has roots to “TOPIC”.

    good morning mkt,

    you should have a look to the 3GPP docs directly, it’s all explained there. unfortunately i don’t remember much so i can’t decode it for you 🙂

    When the user turns on the phone it begins to scan from the last known freq. Then moves up to the next freq band…
