Hey bss and nss people use the same mErl/sub value but if I sum the traffic at radio end, or trunk group end or msc counter than i see slight difference , what makes them use the same value as it should not be the case as i observe significant difference of traffic value at each interface.

Do you mind sharing the kind of values you’re measuring ?
Perhaps, in MSC, the traffic is measured :
from Alerting msg till Disconnectmsg ,while in BSC the tch traffic is measured :
from TCH assignment till Disconnect msg.In other words, the “ringing” phase is not counted as “traffic” in the MSC. It accounts to 3 to 6 seconds per call.
