EDGE in Alcatel TRX

    there are two variants of TRXs provuded by Alcatel: TRAG and TRAGE – whats the difference ? does TRAG suppords EDGE upto MCS-9 ?????

    Urgent -someone plz help

    Both TRAG and TRAGE support all GPRS and EDGE codecs.
    Only with TRAGE the output power in 8-PSK (MCS5-9) is closer to the GMSK output power (used for calls and GPRS coding schemes).

    TRAG 900Mhz GMSK PW = 45W;46.5dBm 8PSK PW =15W;41.8dBm
    TRAGE 900Mhz GMSK PW = 45W;46.5dBm 8PSK PW = 30W;44.8dBm

    Both of them are EDGE TRE but TRAGE 8PSK power more then TRAG

    BRs.
