RF loop test fault,ericsson 2106

    hello!

    I am using 6 dtru’s for sector A(Ericsson RBS 2106). 4+8 configuration.First 2 dtru for 900 and last 4 dtru for 1800.I am having Rf loop test fault alarm in the last dtru.Fault (red led) is visible.I have changed that dtru,changed the Tx & rx cable,swapped the cdu that was connected with that dtru,but still the alarm is coming at the same position.I have installed the idb again but i could’nt figure out that what is the problem.I need assistance.

    Hi Abdullah,

    1st check loop test and verify the connection b/w transcoder and a specific TS in BTS.In order to perform test TS must be in state COM(block).
    After blocking TS initiate Loop test by following command.

    RXLTI:MO=RXOTS-TG#-TRX#-TS#;

    Mostly it happen when Abis E1 TS mismatch if VSAT media is using otherwise check TRC links may be fluctuating or Down.
