I have been seen a very large number of TX saturation alarms on the dTRU’s in our RBS 2×06. I was just wondering how common there alarms are on other networks and if there is anyway to reduce the occurence of these alarms. In order to resolve we have to replace the dTRU’s.
TX saturation
TX saturation means that the TXU delivers maximum RF power
to the PAU but it is still not sufficient to get the desired power
from the PAU. The fault I2A:13 on TRXC is raised at the same
time. Other faults such as I1B:2 and I1B:13 on TX might raise as
consequence.
Many possible reasons both SW and HW related. Can even be temperature related. Try to block/deblock the TRU. If this doesn’t help, power off/on the TRU or replace the TRU.
