It is a well known fact that one Traffic circuit can carry Traffic slightly less than 1E practically, which is also evident from Erlang B Table.Can any body tell me the reason?
Because Erlang computations define the probability of being blocked. The distribution of calls is considered random since they are random two calls may come in at once and a call may be blocked.
If you have a smooth arrival pattern then a circuit can carry one erlang of traffic. 30 calls 2 mins/call every call one after the other.
