    I KNOW HANDOFF WILL OCCUR B/W 2G TO 3G, I WANT TO KNOW THE REASON BEHIND THIS?

    The reason-the 3G signal strength is diminishing gradually as the 3G mobile device user gradually moves away from the 3G base station.

    Hai Rajput,

    The Resone behind the 2G-3G handover is
    1.soppose the subsriber is assesing any data Exmple-HTTP sites .and if he wants to make a call then he need to come back to 2G,Also can make the call from the 3G but resources of 3G will be full .so we need to make a handover b/w 2G-3G……

    How the SIM card authentication takes place in 2G and 3G. If any differance is there then what ia that and if not then how its same?

    IS POSSIBLE HANDOVER FROM 3G TO 2G WHILE CALL WITHOUT DISCONNECTING THE EXISTING CALL..
