    Dear friends i am facing prb in rbs 2111,all the 3 sectors having 3 cabinets n its showing Rx faulty.Tx is working fine.

    i have checked,cable is not swapped,i reloaded the IDB.still prb persist.
    need ur usefull suggestions.

    Hi Amit,

    I do not have answers for you but have a question instead! What is this RBS-2111 ? I heard it is based on remote radios (RRU). Can you tell me what this is and how different it is from RBS-2108.

    there is problem in rru jumpers.check it by swaping or change it.

    RBS 2308 have jumper and feeder cables beetween base station and antennas.
    RBS 2311 have optical cables beetween MU (main unit) and RRU (radio remote unit). So MU can be on the ground, and RRU can be on the top of the pole together with antennas. So the line is MU—optical cabel—RRU—jumper cable—antennas.
    RBS 2311 is practical when you can not apply feeder cables

    2111 is a macro cabinet having RRU which can be connected in remote location using OFC cable connected to the Main Unit.

    My questions to u are:

    u have mentioned 3 sectors with 3 cabinets. there has to be 3 RRU’s and one MU interconnected with OFC cable. Is this done?

    The maximum configuration possible with one MU is 2+2+2. wats ur present config. One RRU=2 TRX. Hence 3 RRU with 3 sectors is 2+2+2 max. Else there is also possibility to connect 2 RRU n combine which will give u 4 TRX combined.

    I NEED TO DO THE CONFIGURATION 4+2+4 USING TWO MU AND 5 RRU, MY QUESTION IT S OBLIGATORY TO USE THE SYNCROSITION CABLE BETWEEN TWO MU?
    NOTA I USE TWO MU IN CASCADE MODE

    U can always cascade. U can have ESB cable for the same. N there is ESB dummy too for the same.
