E1 breakdown

    hi,
    can anyone give me the breakdown of use of each of timeslot in the E1.

    How many timeslots in T1?
    frame structure of T1.

    Hi,

    E1 consist of 32 Time Slot, each has 64kbps, which 2 timeslot is used for synchronization and oam. The rest is for traffic. 30x64kbps=1920kbps.

    i thing 24 timeslots for T1.

    A T1 is the US equivalent of a E1. The difference is that it has only 24 timeslots and as such is only 1.5Mbs (I think) instead of 2
