    Dear All,
    Let’s summarize the RBS 2216 type as following: DRU unit is integrated of these units ‘CDU, CXU & dTRU’; has IXU-31 instead of DXU; handle up to 24 TRUs.

    Dear All,

    RBS2216 with DXU31 is represented for reducing TCO(Total Cost of Ownership) and more portable than RBS2206. Consist of 6DRU(which combine of TRU,CDU and CXU). Simple form with many feature.

    Dear all

    im doing rbs 2216 and my configuration is 4+4+4 = 3×4 with tx combining=hybrid combiner

    if im using configuration 2+2+2 = 3×2,and remove the other DRU, do i need to tx combining = uncombiner or hybrid combiner???

    try to reset BFU and wait for sometime.. if still, replace your BFU… ok!

    Hello Zainul,

    U queried about whether to use Hybrid combiner in 2+2+2.

    I 4+4+4 U need that, but as in 2+2+2 1 DTRU is carrying 2 TRX U don need to make any hybrid combination.

    DXU-31, not IXU-31. IXU is ONLY used in the micro base.

    RBS2216 can only handle 12 TRX in one cabinet, but it support a double cabinets stacking on top of each other, and that could have 24 TRX in the same footprint of RBS2206.

    DRU is so compacted, so it can never as flexible as dTRU with CDU+CXU, which means the jumper cabling could be considered when you try some strange SCC.

    But basically I like it since it is my babe….
