Hi All,
If we make BS-AGBLK-Res = 0 , from BS-AGBLK-RES = 2, this will increase our paging groups in the network (as no control channel blocks are reserved for AGCH if AGBLK=0). How Will this setting (AGBLK=0) affect paging performance in my network. will the effect be positive or negative. (BS-PA-MFRMS = 4, Alcatel system)

with agblk = 0, the allocation of AGCH is dynamic : it can be 0, 1, 2 blocks, or more if needed, depending on the demand.
If you set agblk = 2, then this is static. The allocation of AGCH cannot exceed 2.
Normally, by setting a dynamic allocation of AGCH (agblk = 0), you maximize resources for both PCH and AGCH, so this is an improvement.
However, if you’re still experiencing PCH blocking, then you should consider reducing your LAC size.

if you set AGBLK to 0 with non combine in this case the System information 7 and system information 8 must not sent or not using CBCH.what AGBLK specifies.?
AGBLK specifies CCCH blocks for AGCH (Access Grant Channels)
in combined BCCH, there are 3 CCCH.
in non-combined, there are 9 CCCH.1 CCCH can be used either as PCH or as AGCH.
