    7745 alarm CHANNEL FAILURE RATE ABOVE
    DEFINED THRESHOLD
    Meaning
    The rate of calls terminating in failure on a channel is above the
    threshold value set by the operator. The alarm is used to supervise
    the functioning of traffic and signaling channels, and to detect
    the possible faulty channels.

    What are the different types of internal alarms in BTS. E.g if any sector is down then which alarm rings. And how could we know about that. I want to know all these type of internal alarm.

    I have a problem with the bts, bts omusig not working, no slip on et, et’ve tried changing it can not, try replacing the module is also still can not … is there anything that can help my problem??

    7745 alarm:
    areas to check:
    1) first check the cnt cable if ultra bts else check the pins and correct insertion if flexi bts
    2) Check frequency interference which may cause channel failure due to excessive BER.
    3)replace trx/bb2f
    4) change trx backplane
    5)change common back plane.

    Common causes could be loose cabling and frequency interfernce.
