Does anyone know if the specs for DPNSS (BTNR 188) are available online?
Are they free or is there a cost?

WE ARE INTERESTED IN DPNSS THE EXPLANATION ABOUT ALL THE FIELD CONCERNING THE DPNSS MONITOR. DO YOU HAVE SOME INTERNET ADDRESS WERE WE CAN FIND FOR EXAMPLE THE EXPLANATION OF THE FIELD NAMED “NIM” AND THE VALUE YOU GET AFTER?

BTNR188 is a long document, and the situation a few years ago was that it was only available from BT in paper format, not electronic format. It is therefore almost certainly not available on line. The cost to buy the document from BT was £750 + VAT.
Were there any specific questions about DPNSS you needed answered.
At one stage BTNRs – BT Network Requirments defined the complete Network, e.g. BTNR 167 for NUP.
You will probably need the DASS2 –
Digital Access Signalling System -specification as well.Most Networks are now using Q.Sig
(ISDN ITU-T Q.931).
Also V5.1 and V5.2 maybe of interest.Please let me know if you need any inputs. As highlighted, for DASS2, DPNSS1, NUP, etc.. you will need to procure the specifications directly from BT.
