yes this is Central Function,
But it doesn t matter what CF stand for as long we define it corectly after the TG and before the other MO.
In fact some people call it Control function, but the real name Central Function
Yes Finn you are right,
Sorry I should have writen Transceiver Group and Managed object directly,
To Refresh again :
A managed Object (MO) is a representation of a part of one BTS
which is given a name :Transceiver Group (TG)
of course then we have different managed object, that represent diferent part of what we want to manage in the BTS like
central function, Concentrator, Digital Path, Timing function , transmiter, receiver, time slot, etc…
Is it the same way of working for, ALCATEL, NOKIA, etc…

RX share cables. I dont have a clear understanding of why you sometimes need RX share cables. Are these things (as the name implies) used to share antennas, or have they got something to do with space diversity? I am currently engaged in installation of RBS2216 and RBS3206. I am very new to the mobiles industry, and I have had no formal training on Ericsson base stations.
Can anyone explain the basics of what these cables do, or perhaps refer me to a place where I can get some more information?
