    Hi All,

    Any body could explain about the paging capacity which could carry on Paging Message over Radio Interface in UMTS Network?
    Like CCCH capacity in GSM Network..

    Hi,

    Anyone know any Nokia 3G Report / 3G Counter from which I can get Timing Advance??, Like Report 232 (Nokia) in 2G.

    Logically it should be there, (I am not sure).

    Hi Joni,

    I dont see that there is Timing Advance in 3G. In 2G TA is used to synchronize the timing during handover non synchronize.
    If the handover is synchronize, the TA is not sent on the message, then HO access will be sent 4 times

    Gito,

    The timing advance is not only used for HO. It’s mostly used so that the burst sent by the MS falls within the timeslot it has been allocated by the BTS.

    For 3G, i don’t know…
