    I need information on the Nokia BSc3i specifically how many BTS and Radios it can control?,but most importantly what is the max power rating.My problem has to do with the radios what is the power rating(dbm) when the radios are being turned on if in the off state do they need to come up at a high power state.Please note that this is different from the TX output power at the antenna connector.Please E-mail ASAP with answer.

    BSC3i, support 660 TRX, 248 BTS & 248 BCF as well as 24+4 PCU card.

    Hi all:

    BSC3i can support 660 TRX, 248 BTS and 248 BCF using release S10.5 or S10.5ED. In next release S11.5 you can handle 660 BTS or BCF.

    Thanks to sharique and oliver for the info from the bottom of my heart could you guys give me access to some literature on the BSC3i if you can mail me at juan2960@yahoo.com.My puzzle has to do with the power that is needed in dBm to start the TRX’s if in the off state for example nortel BSC3E has a 1.5KW of power capability with a 1000 TRX and 500 BTS 600 max cells.this could be found at http://www.nortelnetworks.com/products/01/gsm_access/bsce/

    For BSC3i main TRX capacity limit – number TRX’s with HR or AMRHR channels.
    You can activate only 330 TRX’s with HR or AMR HR, for more TRX’s you need order additional licence for “Soft channel capacity” feature.

    For BSc3i
    With S14 release
    MAX TRX Capacity: 2000 TRX
    With Flexi BSC : 3000 TRX

    Before S13 release:
    MAX TRX Capacity: 660 TRX.

    All TRX’s are totally AMR FR/HR compatible with Soft channel capacity feature.
