Can any one tell me that how many subscribers can a BTS can handle equipped with one E1
23rd December 2005 at 05:40 #39336hardev from canadaGuestDear papa ji
ABTS can handle 32 conversations at a time with E123rd December 2005 at 08:58 #39337shaleen srivastavaGuestdear hardev
in one E1 i think more conv. can be supported.
as, one E1 can support idealy 15 TRX cards
that means 5 sectors(well we are not using 5 sectors but still assuming the ideal case)
in one sec. we have 8 slots in three cards and 7 slot in one card are used for traffic
so totally
((8*3)+7)*5=155
so this much no. of calls can be supported by one E1.
if any other suggestions are there please welcome.

– Minilink is a name for Ericsson microwave.
– Microwave is transmission for less than a STM though 64 kbit
– PDH/SDH is transmission for > 1 STM
* PDH (Plesyncronous DH ) for single line and still conventional, and SDH ( synch. DH ) for > 1 line main/backup.CMIIW

if you use ericsson T610, here’s how you check the signal:
activate the TEMS (simply choose pocket view on), when it’s on look on the top of it if it shows no.1 : u have bcch and rx lev. but i suggest u scroll down to no.2, there u’ll have serving and neighbour list on the left side, and the RxLev on the right side.29th December 2005 at 09:31 #39349ospreyGuesthi K.Rajandran ,
vsat is a tranciver with a parabolic antenna. it linked to the satellite to reached the other part of the world.
microwave is ALMOST the same as minilink. it’s also a tranciver but with a radome antenna.usually microwave is used in mobile communication industry.
vsat has high power in order to reached satellite(more than 1000km). minilink can only reach 10km or so. -
