Consider a big Cricket match or a football match in a stadum like the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The capacity would be lets say 10,000 minimum.
Lets say for a service provider there are say about 1000-2000 users say(minimum).
Lets say each user calls 4 times in an hour(minimum).
Lets say the minimum holding time of 1 minute.
1 user offers=60*(4/3600)=0.0667Erlangs
1000 users offer=1000*0.0667 Erlangs=66.7Erlangs.
The minimum channel requirement for such event according to erlang-B table offering 2% GOS is 80.
This is the minimum required.I know practically this demands much larger channels.
What is the optimum number of channels required?
How do u implement during such events for a congestion free traffic design?
