Do you mind sharing the kind of values you’re measuring ?
Perhaps, in MSC, the traffic is measured :
from Alerting msg till Disconnectmsg ,
while in BSC the tch traffic is measured :
from TCH assignment till Disconnect msg.
In other words, the “ringing” phase is not counted as “traffic” in the MSC. It accounts to 3 to 6 seconds per call.
