Lines and IP Bandwidth Calculator
Each VoIP calculator is presented inside a tab at the top of the application. The Lines and IP Bandwidth Calculator works out the bandwidth that you should provide through an IP-based network for a given number of voice channels. The calculator works up to 100,000 Lines and 20,000 Mbps.
Answer – 5.76Mbps
You can also perform reverse calculations to work out the number of voice paths that can be derived from your existing IP-based connection.
Erlangs and IP Bandwidth VoIP Calculator
This calculator returns the bandwidth that you should provide through your IP-based network to transport a known traffic volume in Erlangs or CCS. The calculator works up to 25,000 Erlangs and 20,000 Mbps!
Answer – 4.686Mbps
Again, you can perform reverse calculations to work out the busy hour traffic that can be offered to your existing group of lines derived from an IP link of a known bandwidth.
