Reporting to the pre-sales department, and in connection with the sales teams, you will analyse the needs of customers in order to propose the most suitable technical solutions. In coordination with the seller responsible for the Key Account (Corporate Sale Services), you will participate in the tenders answer, you will defend the proposed offers. You will also bring your support to the sales team in the commercial and contractual negotiation phase.
As such, your main missions will be to ensure the pre-sales on the service offerings.
You will be in charge of:
Analyse customer issues, and build the technical-financial solution
Adapting a service solution and customizing the service portfolio to the needs of French or international customers for networks of all technologies (transmission, RAN [G3, G4, and future G5 pilot],core networks, IP…)Support and write the technical answer in order to respond in time to a customer in the tender phase
Validate the technical solution and be force of proposal by adapting the technical solution according to the need of the end customer
Consolidating costs and integrating them into a P&L
Keep track of Offers
Strengthening relationships with the end customer
Your profileTelecom engineer or High-Tech education, you have a successful experience of at least three years as a technical-commercial engineer ideally or Key account manager in the telecoms sector (A previous experience in pre-sales is mandatory)
A solid experience in managing framework contracts
Sensitivities to the concepts of SLA, LDs (liquidated damages = penalties)
Negotiations contract clauses and frame contract (International framework Contract)
Listening, and customer Orientation and service sense
Anticipation and Initiative
Relational ease
Written and oral Communication
English Mandatory(French is not needed), Chinese would be a plus

26th December 2018 at 12:25 #70230Wallis DudhnathGuestYou also need to look at RAN VNF and Cloud. The traditional RAN Network is now being transformed to a collection of Data Centers with RAN VNFs that can be scaled using the capability of ETSI MANO.
4G / 5G will need a AI / ML layer for predictive fault handling. Traditional RAN engineers will need to be familiar with Data Science.
Look also at initiatives from TIP and Open-RAN. This will allow IT organisations to build and integrate RAN VNF software.
