    Hello All,

    I have a question regarding the CAMEL.
    What is the difference parameters both CAMEL phase 2 and CAMEL phase 3.

    Please help me out.

    Hi Michael,

    CAMEL Phase 3 / 4 were standardised a long time ago. It was done well before the era of Gy, Gx, Sy, Diameter (RFC 7633), etc..

    CAMEL Phase 2 is mainly used for Voice based Services – Call Control and Prepaid.

    CAMEL Phase 3 supports MO-SMS and GPRS based Charging.

    ETSI TS 129 078 V12.0.0 (2014-10)

    You can do a google search for 3GPP CAMEL phase 2 and Phase 3 specifications.
