high drops on 900 ( common BCCH cells)

    Hi ,

    We are facing issue of high call setups and drops on 900 layers on common BCCH wall mount sites where physical changes are not possible due to access issue.

    System :Nokia

    NBL changed to 5 LER changed to -100, LAR changed to -90 but still high call attempts and drops on 900 while 1800 carrying max traffic with few drops but still 900 call drops high.

    Several areas need to be reviewed.
    See below:-

    -Hardware failure
    -Transmission problem
    -Version upgrade
    -Parameter setting
    -Coverage problem
    -Antenna system problem
    -Imbalance between uplink and downlink

    Check with another site if the parameters are the same and if the other site is experiencing the same set of issues. Check with Nokia if this is a known fault.
