The world of Telecommunication is fast changing to encompass IP – Internet Protocol – and IT (Information Technology). At the time of writing the move and focus is with Network Function Virtualisation (NFV), Software Defined Network (SDN), Cloud (XaaS – “Anything” as a Service) and Big-Data (Hadoop, Storm, Spark, Hive, pig_Latin, etc..), etc..

Start to focus on a Telecommunication IT stack environment. Very soon the CSP environment will be a bunch of Network “slices” that will be used to deliver different Services (e.g. OTT) to the End Users and to the numerous Verticals.

The name of the game is an incremental Transformation of the CSP Network so that it can address new business models for 5G / Industrialised IOT.
