For Pix-Radio Drops Alcatel MC993

    Hello Pix,

    High Radio drops are appearing on few cells of BSC, upon verfication on counter level we found that most of the drops are pegging in MC993 “AMR call drops when SACCH is not activated”.
    Remote site with high TCH utilization. Random interference is also observed.
    Repeated downlink SACCH is activated having value of 3/4 of RLT. Kindly help me, how can i improve this counter. Awaiting your reply. Thanks

    you need to trigger the repeated SACCH feature earlier.

    try to reduce RADIOLINK_REP_DL_ SACCH to 10 for example, or even lower.

    can you check the value of mc992 ? are there a lot of activation, compared to the number of tch calls ?

    then what’s the ratio of mc993/(mc993+mc994) ?

    finally, can you deactivate RSACCH feature, see if the behaviour is better after that ?
