3G – 2G cell reselection problems

    Hello,

    We are currently deploying a 3G network. We are facing issue that 2G-3G cell reslections are fine, however, when MS after reselecting back to 2G network from 3G, all the CS services are fine but EDGE seems to be not working in 2G while coming out of 3G coverage and we have to manually restart the phone. Can anyone help please Urgently?

    Hi RZ,

    No idea. I would focus on the Core Network side, and look for info on “combined RA/LA update” in Huawei documents.
