PS Interactive Traffic

    Hi,

    could someone please explain to me why is PS Interactive traffic calculated in Erlangs, and not bytes?

    hi llme,

    PS traffic is always measured in Bytes. It’s up to you to come up with a formula if you need to translate the PS bytes in an equivalent to “erlangs”.
    It makes no sense to me to speak in “erlangs” when talking about PS traffic though..
    It,makes more sense to talk in terms of “number of PDCH used”, or “kb/s”, or “number of CE & pwr used” (in 3G)
