Half rate activation

    Hi All,
    After Half rate activation on one cell we faced that the UL/DL interferences and TCH assign. failures due to radio problems are increased..
    Please give me idea what can be the reason?

    vang,

    the only reason i see is that the TCH are now allocated on a TRX which have lower quality than the others.
    When HR is activated, the radio resource allocation algorithms choose a TRX which is more “favourable” to HR.

    now if you are mixing HR with AMR, DL DTX and UL DTX,then there are perhaps some issues (???)
