Type of DL TBF

    there are many types of UL TBFs like 1-phase access and 2-phase access but what about the DL direction, what type of TBF is established in DL direction, do network always know the resources required in DL?

    bill,

    yes, indeed, the network knows what are the capacities of the MS which needs the DL TBF
    (those characteristics were stored in the network when the MS attached and activated its PDP context).
    There is only one type of DL TBF establishment (which has no specific name: it’s called DL TBF Estab.)
