TRX IDLE

    hi
    I’ve a problem..I’ve a cell(RBS2216) with 2 TRX.. and the second TRX is always idle.. I tried to do a swap .. and still the second TRX idle. what can I do?

    If you have swapped the hardware, I would think this would be a parm issue.

    Hi,
    Try to lock the one TRX working, BCCH should jump to the other and see if there is traffic.
    please send printout RXCDP, RLCRP

    I tried the idea of locking the 2nd TRX, the traffic tends to zero… is that mean the TRX is faulty?

    yes, probably the trx. there is a remote chance that it is the bts itself or the digital module that is faulty, but i’d rather bet on the trx.

    PET,

    I don’t know the name in E/// BTS. It’s the module that interfaces the BTS with the Abis, called SUM in ALU.
